The courses in STePS have a major project based component and the projects are open-ended (each team can pitch their own idea to develop). Most of the time these projects are pitched based on real-world problems and the courses provide an opportunity apply the knowledge gathered in the course to solve real-world problems and showcase to your peers (which promotes peer-learning), industry guests (to make connections and further support) and the teaching team (for authentic assessment).
