InterGen
Polyphamacy, poor adherence and low rates of compliance to both medications and health monitoring adversely affects patient outcomes. We present Intergen. Intergen features a chatbot that is linked to a machine learning model for image recognition allowing users to experience seamless and frictionless care - all they need to do to get started is snap a few photos.
To encourage adherence to medication schedules, Intergen’s chatbot utilises computer vision to process prescription stickers, translating the user’s medication regimen into instructions for our pill dispenser to serve reminders and their medication(s). The chatbot is also integrated with an automated pill dispenser through an API to dispense pills on schedule. Our automated pill dispenser is also modular in design, allowing for a great deal of customisability.
To promote the use of healthcare monitoring devices by removing the friction and labour costs associated, Intergen’s chatbot can process readings from existing health monitoring devices found in most homes like the Omron Blood Pressure machine. The chatbot automatically converts the picture to a text of the recording, storing the data in a format that can be exported. Historical health data is also made available to caregivers and healthcare providers (with the user’s consent), to better allow healthcare providers to understand the efficacy of the current medication regimen and potential lapses in the patient’s compliance.
