Virtual Nursing (Alexandra Hospital)
Virtual Nursing is a platform for efficient and enhanced patient monitoring and care, with the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors like smart beds and smart wearables. We have created a processing and analytics system that can consolidate, aggregate and present the continuous stream of data measured by the IoT devices for nurses to monitor the patients’ clinical data in a more efficient manner and trigger alerts for nurses’ attention upon detecting patient abnormalities or deterioration.
