The Medical Grand Challenge (MGC) is a medical innovation program started by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine). It aims to encourage medical students to identify unmet healthcare needs and to work collaboratively with students from other faculties to form interdisciplinary teams to explore creative and out-of-the-box solutions to meet these needs. This is a year-long challenge culminating in the Grand Finale event in August of the following year.
The team projects will be evaluated and scored for business strategy, creativity, design quality and healthcare impact by an esteemed panel of judges.
Our Grand Finale Event, the most anticipated event of the competition, will be held on 19th August 2023. This year's event will take place in a hybrid format. Shortlisted teams will be showcasing their projects in an exciting Oral Pitch format to audience watching live and from the livestream of the event.
