The Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) at the National University of Singapore and the Max Planck Society, Germany (MPG) are jointly organizing an international conference on “Mechanobiology in Time & Space” from 9-12 September 2025 at the National University of Singapore. This 3.5-day conference will focus on the spatiotemporal aspects of mechanobiology, emphasizing the importance of understanding the biophysics of cellular and molecular interactions in both Time & Space and how they drive cell behavior and play a role in development, health, and disease. Additionally, the conference will explore the growing intersection of mechanobiology and aging, examining how mechanical forces influence the aging process, from cellular degradation to organismal longevity. New methodologies and tools that deepen this understanding will be shared in order to push the field into a new dimension.
