Registration will close on 10 June (Thursday), 23:59 SGT.
Date: 16 June 2026 (Tuesday) Time: 4-6pm Venue: Apple Developer Centre Singapore, Level 5, 1 Fusionopolis Walk Singapore 138628

Workshop Details: Explore how SwiftUI and Apple’s human-centred design turn practical ideas into intuitive app experiences. This session connects DIS 2026’s “Beyond Interaction” theme with Apple’s design principles, using a ferry schedule planner built with SwiftUI as the design example. Through the Human Interface Guidelines, participants will see how hierarchy, layout and simple interactions can make complex information easier to understand at a glance. In the hands-on segment, they will create a polished digital name card in Swift Playgrounds, shaping it with their own content and design choices, before sharing their work and exploring how the same ideas can continue in Xcode.

About the Workshop Facilitator: Kaushik Manian was formerly a Mentor at the Apple Developer Academy in Batam Indonesia. He currently works part-time at Tinkertanker. A Swift student developer since 2019, Kaushik’s work focuses on creating simple, thoughtful app experiences across Apple platforms. An accomplished developer and speaker, Kaushik has also won multiple awards and competitions.
