The Asia Pacific Student Services Association (APSSA) invites higher education scholars and practitioners to join them in Singapore, from 18 to 20 November for the 19th APSSA International Conference 2024 hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS). The conference will feature pre-conference workshops followed by the main conference programme at University Town, NUS. The 19th APSSA International Conference provides a platform for all participants to delve deeper into the following areas in student affairs work:
  • Transit: Facilitating seamless crossovers into the first year.
  • Transform: Education for holistic development.
  • Transcend: Growth for the individual that impacts that community.

The 19th APSSA International Conference will be centred around the following themes and subthemes.
Theme: Transiting into and Navigating through University towards Student Success
Sub themes:
  1. Designing support to facilitate seamless transition - First Year Experience.
  2. Planning, policies, practice and programmes to optimise holistic student development from entry to graduation.
  3. Monitoring/evaluating the level of effective transition and successful learning at University.
