We help to improve the Patient's Experience by Predicting and Reducing Porters' Response Time

Description

Patient Transport Assistants (PTAs) are responsible for transporting patients and items within the hospital. However, the assignment of such tasks to PTAs is no mean feat in Hospital X, where the waiting time for tasks sits at an average of eight minutes for patient centric tasks and 19 minutes for non-patient centric ones. Hospital X seeks to be able to respond within 10 minutes for at least 75% of the patient centric tasks. Having performed data analyses, a predictive model was built to assist controllers in the task assignment process and assist in providing recommendations to improve the overall waiting time in Hospital X.
