The 6-minute walk test (6MWT) is a simple exercise that measures the exercise capacity of patients with chronic lung diseases. It is usually performed in hospital clinics, requiring the involvement of the hospital staff and facilities. Our application removes this physical barrier, allowing the patient to take the 6MWT at their comfort and convenience. There are also benefits to the clinical staff, as they no longer have to take the time and resources to conduct the test, as it is now automated through the use of the application. Stakeholders that might be interested in the project would be the elderly, individuals with chronic lung diseases and healthcare institutions such as SingHealth.
