Description
Based on surveys from #AreuOK campaign, 20% of NUS staff and 40% of NUS students cite poor mental well-being.
As part of Makerthon 2022, we hope to encourage more conversations about mental well-being in the NUS community. With AnonyBooth, NUS students and staff can learn tips and practise questions to ask during their mental health check-ins with their friends and family. We hope that they can be better supporters and encourage others to do the same!
AnonyBooth is a physical designated space with an interactive interface to equip supporters with the skills to have meaningful conversations about mental well-being. There will be questions and prompts to guide the conversation, as well as fun activities to put your skills to the test!
Once two participants are present in the booths, they will be paired and they can start talking to each other virtually. Participants will remain anonymous unless they decide to turn on their cameras. If a participant feels uncomfortable at any point of time during the call, they may leave the booth. Participants are encouraged to be respectful and keep all conversations private.
Do visit our booth to have a go at it!
