One major challenge faced by the healthcare industry in Singapore would be the shortfall of nurses. In this project, we are focusing on a specific group of nurses known as specialty nurses. Our project aims to ameliorate the load of the specialty nurses by focusing on improving their current referral processes via filtering and estimating their referrals from electronic records of hospitalised patients. By utilising better data visualisation practices and estimation models, we hope to reduce the workload of the specialty nurses.
