Description
Dementia is a growing cause for concern among the elderly, affecting over 55 million people worldwide. While there is no cure, early detection is crucial as it allows those affected and their families to better prepare for it. In our project, we aim to develop a machine learning model to predict the onset of dementia in patients using Random Forest and XGBoost algorithms. We believe that this project will assist in early detection of the onset of dementia, and allow preemptive measures to be taken to mitigate the impact of dementia on patients, their families, and healthcare workers.
